Mohit Marwah is a well-known personality and a Bollywood actor. He went to Don Bosco School and then the University of Delhi for his schooling and further education. He then attended Asian Academy of Film & Television, as he was inclined towards filmmaking. He joined Vikram Bhatt as an assistant director. He gained experience in movie production and then went to Lee Strasberg Acting School to expertise on acting skills.

He worked in the production process of 3 movies Jurm (2005), Elaan (2005), and Deewane Huye Pagal (2005). He was featured in a short film ‘The Audition’. The film was directed by Karan Boolani, produced by his brother Akshay Marwah, and Amit Trivedi had given music for it. He also acted in Karan Johar’s short film "Strangers in the night" under Dharma Productions, directed by Shakun Batra. His first break in mainstream cinema came for him with Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Fugly’. He was cast opposite to Kiara Advani. He appeared in music director Anu Malik's daughter's single 'Lamhein' along with Anmol Mallik. The single is a recreation of 'Paradise', a Coldplay's 2011 hit. He was seen in the short film by Yash Raj Films' youth division’ Y-Films’, ‘Love Shots’. It contained 6 short films and featured Nimrat Kaur, Farida Jalal, Farida Jalal, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Tillotama Shome, Shweta Tripathi, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Saqib Saleem, Salim Merchant, Saba Azad. The short film ‘The Big Date’ was highly appreciated by the audience. His performance in ‘Raag Desh’ was well received by the public.

He is a grandchild of Surinder Kapoor. Actors Harshvardhan Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor Jhanvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are his cousins. Late Bollywood legendary actress Sridevi was his aunt. He recently married his longtime girlfriend Antara Motiwala in Dubai.
